Have you been to Beldt's lately?

I was there last night and the place looks great lots of live stock . Some really high end fish and corals . I seen a couple nice table corals and a couple wrasses that the guy said are not for sale but I asked what they would cost if they were and he said something around $400.00 each . Its been a long time sense I was there and I was surprised by all the new tanks and the selection of stock . If you havn't been in a while you should check it out .

I went there and saw dyed leather corals. Not very cool.

I also witnessed 19 or more things spelled incorrectly in the fresh water, saltwater, and reptile section. Wen I brought it to the attention of part owner Gary he said, "We don't care about getting things spelled right. Here at our store it is not important to be that technical."

Other than that they did add a lot of new systems and cleaned the floor nicely. Lets just hope they know and care about what they are selling.

It stinks when you go into one of those shops and you as a hobbyist know more about the livestock in the store then the employees or even the owners know.

Nice to see you on here...

That's why ir's important for hobbyists to learn all they can and not rely on only LFS employees for information.

These shops support our club....I think we should return the favor.

I was there.....about 4 weeks ago. Shortly after they added the new system. Things were much more clean and I guess another system means more livestock. Things are coming along nicely.

If spelling things right was a prerequisite in this hobby, these boards wouldnt exist :)

I thought it was pretty good today when I stopped by. Had some very nice sps, and its always good to know where the coral is coming from (Jim Craig was unloading a few boxes)

Most employees are clueless, but what can you expect. Always deal with the owned or manager in saltwater transactions and things will go better

Hey stranger. They should not spell things incorrectly. That's like spelling "when" like "wen"

I haven't been there in a few months. The fox I got from them was great and still is. Every store needs the support of the local reefers. However, stores go through changes and bad times and a lot of people will throw that store out of their loop forever. There is only one store that I would never go (in my opinion, I don't think it should be defined as a store :D ) I would never say what store on this board but if anyone really cares, simply ask me via pm
