Maybe if you held the colony out of the water for an hour or so, it would expell the extra fluid?
It's truely creepy looking. I can't even say what it looks like without worring about getting banned...

Thats a good idea...maybe take a needle to them too see if you can drain it so it does not pop and kill the polyps

I've actualy seen a needle inflate two very similar looking objects before. It was so damn cool, I'm surprised the surgeon let me in there!
