looks like a rhodactis not a ric to me. if so, this is normal.

i went to the guy that sold it to me and said it is a green ric not a rhodactis and i ask why it grew so big and he said he did not know

It is a rhodactis.....I have a number of them in my tank. At night they are maybe the size between a nickel and a quarter. When the main lights come on they grow to about 4" in diameter.
