Here's a little info on the tank, I have a CadLights artisan 2 100g tank

Total water volume is about 80 gallons

My lights are 2x hydra 26 and a 8 bulb 36in ati dimmable fixture with 4bulbs removed to make room for the hydras.

I have the skimmer and sump that came with the tank when I bought it.

I have a 200w aquavia heater

2x phosban 150s from tlf (one bio-pellets one gfo)

2x dos by apex (cal, alk, mag, and ato)

And the apex controlling it all.

My parms are
Ca 450
Alk 8.96
Mag 1460
No3 16
Phos .04
Ph 8.1
Temp 78.5-79.5
Sa 1.025

Water change schedule
8gal weekly with redsea Coral pro

Now alittle about why I putting this up, i have had this tank up and running since February this year everything was transferred from my other tank into this one after the cycle was completed. I had to move about 4 months ago and had a company in town move my tank everything was going good untill about two months ago when things started dying off I have looked for any and every reason for this to be happening and I have found one.

I only keep lps and softies and the die off is manly the lps but I have noticed some of my zoas not opening also.

I don't know what else to put so if you have any questions please just ask and I will answer them. Sorry about all the spacing out of this I figured it would make it easier for everyone to read the important stuff.

Did you alter the light schedule on the hydras at all?
Did you add new sand after the tank move?
How far was the tank move?
What are you using for flow?
Did the tank have a mini cycle after the move?
What type of lps and how is the "die off" occuring?

I have not altered the lighting schedule for the hydras yet I am thinking it might be to low.

I used new sand on this tank with a little of the old sand sprinkled on top to help seed the sand

The tank move was in the same town only 5mile away tank was up and down in 2 1/2 hours

I have 2 gyres that's alternate between eachother thru apex

And the LPS that are dieing or acans mainly and one frog spawn

Is a sudden die off or do they just close up and not re-open/re-extend.

Do you have a picture of the effected coral to share?

Nitrate is a little high at 16 but nothing super alarming. Have you tested Nitrite and ammonia?
I had them both tested on Monday and they're both undetectable

And the day off its been slow tissue loss over the last month and a half or so I don't have any pictures right now but I can make some when I get home

When shutting down a reactor, it is better to remove small amounts of Bio-pellets over time rather than just take it off line.

May I ask why you stopped using BPs? I am a fan but, I know many people who aren't.

Slow tissue loss.... Did you move the corals to where they may be in a higher flow area (gyres can move a ton of water) and had tissue damage from their skeletons?

What about your lights? Position relative to same in the re-setup.
Too little light or a lower general rock profile might cause a slow but inevitable decline, lps more than the zoas, but not if the light is proportionately failing to get there in strength.

I'm only using a half the full amount of the bio pellets I haven't increased it yet. The reason why I'm stopping using them is because I don't think buy skimmer insufficiently pulling out the bio pellet output
Do you have ,or did you add any peppermint shrimp lately?
I never have had a peppermint shrimp and probably never will have 1

I am starting to think my lights may be a factor they are in relatively the same height but I do think I have the Hydra turn down to low for my size tank
