warning this may be a little long.here's what's going on we have a 375 gallon that's been up for 11 months.we have good water flow and good lighting.4 lumenarc reflectors and 4 lumatek 250/400 watt ballats.the parematers are
ca 465
alk 8.6
mag 1380
o4 0ppm hanna checker and lfs tests
no3 0 salifert
sg 1.025
temp is a little high up too 83
so far we've tried 3 sps and within a week they turn white at the base and die.
we've had great success with sps in the past but this new tank has me baffled.
any ideas?

first dont be baffled if your sps corals dont appreciate being in 83 degree water .i also would try to raise your alk to 10ish . if the tank is not brand new you could have some residule copper in it
how long are the lights on for ?
are there any "critter" in the tank that may be bothering them ? sounds like thats not going on .

How stable is your 8.6 dkh and 465 Ca? How are you managing alkalinity and calcium depletion? 2-part or calcium reactor? In my experience, when the corals recede from the base up, its because my parameters have been jumping around.

they are stable im running a ca reactor and its holding them

maybe you should cut back on the lights ,bring them down to 7 or 8 hrs and gradually bring them up to your intended time

How are you acclimating them? 83F should be that big of an issue,'though it's not ideal. I've got a bit of the same issue right now and can't quite put my finger on it.

I would get the tank temp down to 78 to 79 max @ 80 and back down the lights to 7 to 8 hours. IMO! Chef
