It has to make you wonder about quake preparedness.
Japan must be one of the most prepared. Chile is high on the list, too.
Haiti wasn't.
They certainly don't teach or train quake preparedness around here but what about California? I would think that schools in San Francisco would teach kids what to do in the event of a quake.
 
Id think the same. Just think there is a HUGE fault down in Ferdonia. I did a project on it back in the day. I hope that bad boy dont wake up.

i lived on the San Andreas fault for years....and yes, earthquake preparedness is taught in ALL schools out there.

yesterday's quake in New Zealand caused me to search up this thread.

In the past year there's been a lot of tectonic movement and I can't help but wonder if Californians, (especially those living in San Francisco) monitor these events. Time has taught me to not be afraid to come forward with my gut feelings. Sounds goofy.... I know.
