Thanks for looking over the list AGAIN:).

Also what encrusting coral would you suggest

Thanks

encrusting coral from Hawaii is illegal, unless you are trying to get it from elsewhere?

what about a pile of Hawaiian Zoanthids?

what about some endemic hawaiian pipefish, dunkerocampus baldwini? they're very pretty. So are helfrichi dartfish :)

I like the pipefish, but think the eels might eat them. I was told and have read that dart fish are not really Hawaiian, that they just sort of drift in from time to time.

The Waikiki Aquarium has an awesome all Hawaiian fish only tank in the wall at their entrance.

Leland

Here is a shot of the tank you are talking about. 20K gallon tank with the most beautiful fish IMO.

And yes, a pyramid butterfly is a MUST!
Here is mine:

So, Steve says I should only have 4 butterfly fish in this tank, which of these four would you choose;

BF
Bluestrip BF
Racoon BF red sea endemic is preferred if available
Milletseed BF
Tinker's BF someday excellent fish
Pyramid BF
Longnose BF did not make it out of Qt along with the kleineii and auriga, still want to do this fish though
How about a Reticulated BF instead of the auriga

so which 4 would you pick, and if you have the time tell me why. tinker's doesn't really count for now:)

Thanks

I am going to pass on the cleaner wrasse until we figure out how to keep them. They have a very poor success rate in our tank. But I agree great looking fish

I absolutely love that pyramid butterfly. Where is the best place to get one?

Ocean...

J/K. I signed up on notification email lists from LA and waited for a restock. The two I got from them have been model citizens and were eating pellets in QT from the moment I got them.
