question on the scarface blennie. will these little guys sift the sand bed. i love watching them take in a mouth full of sand and filtering it out the gills.

I do not know the answer to this question. I was actually hoping so myself. I was reading that it feeds on algae and detritus so it sounds like it might...

If someone from the Oakland/bay area area is picking one up, id be willing to get in on one of the blennies as well.

there are a few people ordering fish in your area. YGPM

I want a scareface how do I get you payment? I am going to be looking into other native fish, so I may have a few questions.

having second thoughts on the blenny anyone know or have feedback on this?

May nip coral polyps and clam mantles

i have a high fin black blenny and occasionally he does nip at some zoos i have, but only because he sees a pod on it. he has never intentionally nipped at a zoo for food. if you check out brians cube at CRS he has the same blenny in a zoo tank and they are all doing fine.

That Orange Anthias in that link is incredible!

It sure is!

On the blenny: I read on the web that they feed on benthic algae and detritus...

I just talked to him and he's telling me that he has lots of different Tangs and mated pairs of Flame Angels and Potter's Angels, caught as pairs...
