There are no pectoral ocellae as exhibited by P. antenatta and P. mombassae, , the median fin spotting is very similar to the yellow/orange spotting seen in D. barberi, and the ctenoid scales on their bodies give a textured appearance to the dark body bands (think of P. mobassae).
That's about the easiest way to explain it, but I'd say the color of the median fin spotting and lack of pectoral ocellae gets you "there" the quickest.
