Nice little fish Jeff, I got a new fish too picked up a Melanurus Wrasse. My purple longfin jumped for the 100th time and I didnt get to it in time I guess. Was still flopping around when I tossed it back in the tank but must have been a mament too long.

Picked him up at Ceasars, Ya their reef safe and reeealy cool lil guys. I really like their freckles and mohawk. @Grant, every time I break a tank down, I always solve a couple mysteries of where some fish went(behind my stand).

Lol thats the truth but I know this one went in the tank so I'll be getting a dead fish spike in my readings. I suppose the crabs and snails are on it. When you get a chance I'd like to see a better pic of that cute little guy.

I'm thinking of getting some sort of Hawk fish too. Though I'm not sure if he'll get along with my little scooter blenny, since they both seem to hang out on the sand. Any thoughts?...

Honestly I can't say because i've never had a blenny with this fish but they are not very aggressive with any other fish i've had, and they have huge personalities. I would think they would be cool together.

My flame hawk is awesome personality wise. I love how he zooms off his perch to nail a piece of food and then returns. Occassionally he does try to drive a fish away who comes too close. He is a percher and doesn't spend much time on the sand. I've had algae blennies, though not at the time as the hawk, and while the algae blenny and hawk wouldn't compete for food, I can see the two arguing over prime perches in the tank,

That's what I thought Jeff. He's doing really well and one of my favorites too. Not aggressive at all, even during feeding. I don't think a hawk and blenny would have a problem. Hawks seem to perch on rocks or corals than on the sand. JME
