Healthy Gig

Might be a good time to show you my gig again. Coming up on 1 year mark. It was pretty much pancaked & gaping when I bought it. Hate to tell you what I paid but we're very lucky to live in So Ca. Actually had choice of colors but I like green best.

Pic shortly after adding to tank. Got well as soon as I put it in. About 6" or so. Other than light color looked good.

Almost a year later (pumps are off so it's starting to stretch out). Got ridiculous big already. You can see the color change in the body. Fed it 4 times the first month. Haven't fed it since. The female snowflake will bring large chunks of food & release it. Clowns lay eggs every two weeks. Seems to like that rock. Hasn't budged. I've had to move the rock fwd a few times to keep it clear of neighbors. Other than that this thing has been maintenance free.

Some video too:

Tell us more about your system. Lighting, filtration, ect.

Thanks

Beautiful!

They are fun to look at. Nothing special about the tank. 180 g or so. T5+LED lights. Skimmer & chaeto. Dosing pump just replaced a calcium reactor.

A few have asked for more gig, less tank. Easy enough & makes sense for this forum. Thanks for looking. Meant to reply to all of you but apparently don't know how.

I love the video and beautiful Gig and tentacles.. your clowns are digging it..

There is a new clutch of eggs laid day before. Left side where you see them diving under. Male does quite a bit of work from what I've seen.
