Healthy or not?

I got this anemone along with two others from a local reefer a couple months ago. The other two have been doing good but this one has been acting up a little. It was moving around which can be normal until it settles int a spot. It deflated and inflated a few times and then this weird thing happened a week or so ago where it looked like the menstrual filaments was coming out of the tips of the tentacles and now the tentacles are a lot shorter than when I first got the nem. Can you guys tell me if you think the nem is still healthy or not based on pictures?

Thanks!

I have a kessil a350w on a 93g cube. I haven't seen it being picked on and all the other corals and anemones are fine so that's why this is a little strange to me.

If your BTAs are not clones of each other, you may be seeing the effects of chemical warfare between each of them.....
I have been keeping multiple BTAs in my system as well for years and I find that some strains of BTAs are more sensitive than others and slowly deteriorate like in your pics....

are you running a carbon reactor by any chance? I have found that running carbon has played a significant role in having less issues with multiple BTA strains in one system...

btw...do you mean "mesenterial" filaments?.... ;)

Lol yea that's what I meant. These three nems were in the same system together before I got them and all were healthy with no warfare but it could still be happening I suppose. No I don't run a carbon reactor. My system is pretty simple, just a fuge with a skimmer.

I have seen BTAs do that when switched from MH to LED lighting. I believe the intensity that a lot of LED units put out can shock them at first. If it were me I would either lower the intensity of your unit or shade the anemone until it gets used to the transition.
