Can Xenias stand high temperature? My tank was up in the mid 90's the other day. Today, they don't look so great and are retracting.

yes... they're going to melt away, as mine have been doing and they're getting smaller and smaller... they'll grow back, they dont fully die.

Yes. Also, when you fill up the bottle, don't fill it up all the way, since the water expands as it freezes and you don't want it to break the bottle.

I have my RO/DI unit hooked up to my icemaker so I just throw some RO/DI cubes in my sump and it takes care of my top off and temp...

that's a good idea, too bad I don't have an RO/DI unit. I can still get R/O and put them in ice trays I guess.

Changing light cycles can help alot. I changed mine to 5pm - 3am so I can enjoy my tank when i get home from work, and all through the night. Plus there's usually a nice breeze going through the house at night

i changed mine to 8pm - 2am. Im trying to monitor when the temperates goes into the 80's so i know when to put the fans on, on the timer. The mid 90's was a day when my fan wasn't working for some odd reason.
