heat?

hey guys I was wondering if I could leave my light off while I was at work? with this heat my A/c will be on but it still can get hot. I go to work at 7am and my husband at 11. I was going to have him put the frozen soda bottle in the tank then but that will not last all day long. so I was wondering if I left the lights off until 5-6 pm when the sun has gone down a little bit

With my a/c on, its about 70 in the apartment here, the tank doesnt go above 80.1 (72 gallon) and my nano is about 79

yeah in an apartment you can keep it cool. my house is huge. I have it set at 74 and it stays cool down stairs but not upstairs where the tanks are.

what is the highestb temp your tank gets if you leave them on.82 or 83 should not matter as lomg as they cool at night.

I didnt realize they were upstairs, yeah a/c wont even help in that case...

yeah it gets around 83. I put my lights on around 7pm. and I will have my husband turn them off around 1am. god it is so hot. I hope we do not lose power

open the canopes on the tanks will cool them off a bit...

u have any fans over the tops of the tanks ...

it was 115 in the kitchen tonight.............

85 would be a godsend.

Ihave a fan on blowing on the tank and the temp only got to 83 last night. we keep changing the frozen h2o bottles every two hours. this weekend it is going to be like 80 out,thank god!!
