Hi!
I have a 100W Aquarium Systems heater that fits the 3163 perfectly, it's the same size as the 50W unit. I was wondering if I can use it since the recommendation in the manual says 75W max.
I will use the filter in a 60 gallon tank, so there shouldn't be any issue with it overheating the tank. Do you think the filter can take the 25W difference?
I understand there's the issue of warranty, but heater-related problems are excempt anyway afaik. I just don't want to use it if you say it WILL melt the plastic or sth similar.
Thanks, Alex
