Wondering if you could place heaters in overflow boxes? Sump is ideal I know but was just wondering if in overflow they might work better at keeping water temp same due to the fact water would be passing by them more or would it??
I'd be cautious to put anything in an overflow. The chances for obstruction increase although unlikely. Could possibly attract livestock due to warmth?
I am taking it that you would secure the heater to it's suction cups and not just let it bang around in there with the turbulence of incoming water. Right? Let us know how it works out.
Yes secured, would worry slowly melting something otherwise, but good point they hardly ever turn on since I'm running halide but still like to know their there and working just in case
