I have this submersible heater. I would like to know if this to be submerge completely or the top part above the red line can be above the water line? thanks

Is it rated as "fully submersible"?
post the brand/model of heater.
some are, some aren't, but we can't guess which one you have.

The Aqueon pro is 100% fully submersible.. I have mine laying horizontal 6" underwater in my sump. I love those heaters..never had a problem with them.
