Not with the RK....you can only set it up as timed lights or temperature, but not both. I think the AC and others have that function, but not the RK. Let me know how it works out for you.
I run 2 fans on my RK on 2 different channels that have the ability to cool the tank individually. If one fan should fail and the tank temp rises .1 higher the second fan kicks on. It hasnt yet and hopefully it never will, but for the price of a fan and one outlet on the RK I think it's worth it.
I plan to switch the fan plugs on the RK once a month so one doesn't sit without being used for too long. I would hate for the day to come I need it and it be siezed up...
Lights kicking off when temp is too high and a refugium light setting opposite the display lights that would still allow the wavemaker to go into night mode would have been nice additions.

All this and more has been added to their new model! Check their RC forum for info. Mine has been working out great, controlling two fan circuits and running two ebo jager heaters on one circuit.
