heating a pico tank

Hey fellas. New guy here. I have been keeping a 46g soft coral reef for quite a few years now, and have been pretty successful with it. A few of the people I work with are getting into freshwater tanks, and when they found out I kept a reef, they suggested setting one up here at work. I thought this http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=15493 3g pico looked pretty cool, but I am unsure about heating it.

The smallest traditional hearter I can find is 10w, which I am afraid might be a bit much. However, the only other option seems to be from Marineland or Hydori, which both offer a smaller 7.5w heater, but they only claim to raise water temps by a few degrees over outside air temp, with no temperature control setting. This will not do, as the temp here in the office fluctuates between 68-75 almost daily in the summer.

Am I out of luck, or is there a way to work around my dilema? Thanks!

My nano tanks fluctuate that much in the winter in Florida when the windows are open even with heaters. Remember that even if the room temp drops it doesn't mean the tank will be at ambient temp. I'd recommend some hardy soft corals, a coral banded shrimp or equivalent and no fish.
