and they bought .com also, they linked the site to that, we have our work cut out Questin.

its ok there are lots of duplicate names of companies in the US its not worth most peoples time and its costly to trademark nationwide, so it's all good.

I was looking into Reef-A-Palooza and saw that they were the group that put it together.

We have known they were around since this SCMAS was founded. Some one from their club posted up here like on the 1st day.

hmmm ok then, if it didn't matter then, it shouldn't matter now. Obviously if they had a real problem with it, they would have trademarked and forced this club to change the name.

But the names are not the same, only the acronym is.

Yeah but that is what is used by us and them most often. It can be trademarked if used in any type of advertising. It's expensive to do a federal trademark but they or us can do it, anyone can trademark it and make the other guy stop using the name, even if they have been using it for 30 years.

Central Colorado Reef Society CCRS, or Colorado Springs Marine Enthusiast CSME. Really I'm good with it no matter what the club is called as long as its fun. Oh who’s going to do the web page?
