Hello All, I have some filter socks $7

Hello guys, I'm new to the area and I have some filter socks that I have too many of. I am not ready to set up my tank yet so I wont be needing them anytime soon, I have about 12 of them, I purchased them from my friend that has a wholesale account for $7. They are made out of the micron polyester felt and are the 200's most people have the 100's, these catch everything. They are about 4 inches wide and about 12 inches or so long.

I am not sure how to interpret that line, but the 200 micron socks let more pass through than the 100s.

Do these have a support ring around the mouth ? or are they drawstring ? Thanks

im not sure, thats what i was told because they cost more than the 100's

Just an FYI:

I did a group buy on filter socks awhile back. I purchased the 100 micron size. They did a great job of filter - but the only problem is that they clog up way too fast. Some people suggested that the next time we do a group buy, we purchase the 200 micron bags. Anyway - I am thinking about doing a group buy similiar to what I did last time. Later tonight, I'll start a new thread so that I don't hijack this thread.

BTW - 200 micron bags cost more than 100 micron bags on filterbags.com . When I was checking out filter socks, most LFS carried either 100 or 200 micron size.

oh ok, thanks for the info mn95616. If you guys can get a better deal with mn95616 then you can wait and get them from him, I'm really in no rush to sell them, I can always re-order also. If you need them though I still have about 4 to 6 of them, I don't know if people still want them.
