Just thought I'd say hello...just joined the forum.
I'm in the process of building a 12"x12"x12" 10mm all glass cube tank for a mantis of some species, depending on what I can locate here.
The plan is for fairly deep sand base, a couple of pieces of rockwork and maybe a few pieces of calurpae to add some greenery to the tank.
For filtration I have an Eheim Aqua Boss hang on filter, a smallish powerhead on a home made wavemaker to add some surges to the water movement, heater hidden behind a 10mm glass corner strip for safety reasons, and for lighting I have an 80 watt suspended mercury vapour lamp.
Does this sound Ok to you guys?
