Hi i am just posting to say hello as i am new to this site and also quite new to the saltwater hobby,
i had a question or should i say wanted to know what type of hermit crab i have as it has grown into an absolute beast, i have tried and tried to ad pictures but its just not letting me. Any how as soon as i figure out how to upload pics properly i will provide a pic of brutus to see if anyone knows what he is thanks.

Hi and welcome!! I'd recommend trying an app called Tapatalk. You can access RC by logging in through that and easily upload pics there

Usually the problem is that the pictures are too big for the RC requirements. Needs to be 800x800 to be uploaded or smaller

I wish we could force that through taptalk.. people post insanely large photos through that all the time..

Any crab you get should be a micro-hermit, body the size of your little fingernail. I do have one ungainly beast of my own which is wandering about in a murex shell, but he has been a good citizen so far. Best hermit to get: a scarlet.
