What does everyone use for phyto i want something other than DT's and where do you get it

What does the phyto actually feed? I have never used it and know nothing about it.

everything lives off phyto in the tank (or so I'm told) everything from pods to corals, but i seem to have the algae problem that alot of people have with DT's so i want something different.

Nanook you could have brought LM by but seriously anytime your bored give me a ring!

What type of algae problem does phyto cause?

well I am not saying it causes it but alot of people have had many different types of outbreaks that cleared up when they quite using it, for me it seems diatoms and cyano
