Originally posted by rvitko It might but the wave will not be very large, it really needs at least one extension.
thanks for your answer
what about the extension? Is it two 6212 work together?Does it need additional controller to control two 6212?
Could you tell me the longest size one 6212 could support?(support the wide is 60cm)Does the deep of the tank affect the wave?
I have a same question here: I just bought a wavebox and order another one ( not the extension ) would it still work if the hook up each on one side of the tank and each have their own controller ?
hi.rvitko and seamist,
I googled "wavebox extension" and found the answer:
Wavebox Extension 6212.50
US$ 448,79
Wavebox extension
In case of aquariums with volumes of over 1,200 litres (317 US gal.), a Wavebox Extension 6212.50 should be added to the existing Wavebox. The Wavebox Extension contains the Wavebox 6212, however without Wavecontroller 6091. The combination of Wavebox and Wavebox Extension is suitable for aquariums up to about 2,400 litres (abt. 634 US gal.). Each additional extension (three maximum) increases the volume recommended by about 1,200 litres (abt. 317 US gal.). The Waveboxes can be placed next to each other or opposite each other. A Wavebox Extension can be connected without any other accessories. A Y adapter 7092.34 is required only for two or three Wavebox extensions. "
-------my friend's tank is about 1600 litres,so i need order one 6212 plus one extension, right?Does the main wavebox and the extension both connect to the Wavecontroller 6091?
It generally won't work at all with two seperate controllers, you always want to share the controller so the timing is synchronized, otherwise it would be extremely difficult to tune.
