Help, 1 fish died and 1 is sick

I had a sucker fish for About 6 weeks, it died last night. My goldfish, that I have had for 3 years has a white cotton like film and looks like he lost his color. He was very gold, now he almost looks completely white on his sides. Also he is not as active and he has been chewing on his food then spitting it out.

I got a new filter about 6-8 weeks ago and their food is the same. There is also a Angel fish in the same tank.

I'm going to take a sample of the water to PetSmart tomorrow.

Any suggestions?

I'm not an expert in freshwater fish diseases and especially not for coldwater fish, but this sounds like a bacterial or fungal infection. In the picture it looks like bacterial.
