Help!!!!! 250 gal tank just broke

take the nylon come along straps used to secure cargo and wrap the tank and secure the panel so that if its glass the pressure will not pop the panel off if its acrylic call me and we can secure it

2/3 empty stopped leaking. I've been doing this for 30 years and never had this happen. I can't explain the sensation.

Someone en-route to take livestock thanks....

Big thanks to Robert and Brittany from Eco Reef in Davie for coming to the rescue. They packed up all the livestock and rushed it to their store for safekeeping.

What unbelievable customer service. They went far beyond what any normal LFS owner would have done. They saved thousands of dollars of great stuff for me.

Had a 150 crack at at the edge about 2" from bottom (luckily I was home and was able to remove all the fish). Called manufacturer after all was done with clean up (and a few stiff drinks) and they warranty replaced everything and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the replacement. I was lucky that I had the invoice from the tank purchase (was a combo with stand) so that was likely a big reason they did not give me any grief. They concluded it was a small defect in the stand that caused the tank to sit uneven and the pressure caused it to crack at the corner.

All said and done Marineland were fantastic and I hope you have the same luck with your tank manufacturer.

How long have you had the tanks before they cracked? My 180 is my first glass tank, but I have had it for over 10 years. Never had any problems with the acrylic ones.

I don't know what happened yet. The tank is 4 years old and Marineland is standing by their product warranty 100%. I am extremely satisfied with their response to my problem.

When get the tank moved away from the wall and figure out what happened, I will post a note.

Yes, this episode resulted is quite a few stiff drinks last night, followed by additional ones this evening. LOL.
