help! 9002 skimmer pump stopped working!

Hi, I've run into a problem with my 9002 skimmer. I came home the other day and noticed it had just stopped running. I thought maybe something had clogged the airline or something so I cleaned the whole thing, including the pump, plugged it back in, and still nothing. I took the pump out and tried running it outside of the skimmer housing, and it wouldn't run at all. I've never had problems with it before, and clean the whole skimmer (pump included) about every 3 months. I've had the skimmer for about a year. Is there any way I can disassemble the pump and see if there's a way to fix it? Or do I need a replacement? Thanks.

It is under warranty, the skimmer has a 2 year warranty.

I would first open the pump (remove the intake) and be sure the propeller is not stuck due to calcium build up or fine debris.

If that is not the cause, send it in. It will be replaced within 24hrs of receipt and sent back by UPS ground. You should be fine in the meantime if you run carbon, do small water changes and hold off on any new livestock purchases.

If i do end up needing to send it in, do I need to print out your post and include it in the box? Or just write out a note?
