Hi.
I have decided that my new tank will have sps corals in it. I've finished my cycle and entered a fish in yesterday (percula).

it looks like he is pushed around by the flow and spends lots of energy trying to swimming. I wounder how can he rest at night...

my question is - should I lower the flow down during the night? what do you do with the flow in your tanks that has sps corals in?

My tank is 250 liter (~70gal). I am using two 5000 l/h wave pumps (~1300gal/h) + flow from the return pump.

thank you.

Id leave it flowing day and night. The clowns will find a quiet spot. You dont want detritus settling all night long plus your coral are actively feeding during the night so you want to stir as much up as you can. I for one dont really understand why all the pump manufacturers even off the night modes...oxygen is also lower at night so decreasing water flow only makes that worse.
