So in another thread i posted i have the AEFW and ive been reading up the past few days ways to get the population WAY down. So far i have ordered ZEO flatworm stop,im picking up a coris and melanarus wrasses and now im wondering if the blue velvet slug is also right for me. What do you think? i cannot set up a QT tank so thats out of the question and what i wrote are my only options. Ive already lost 2 acros and a few more dont look very good. i have tried blowing the corals with a baster filled with ro/di water and saw a few dislodge and i am going to keep doing that. I have a mandarin in the tank and apparently i have a large outbreak of the worm he cant keep up.

Blast w/a maxi jet 1200 a few times a week, and or Dip with Inteceptor, revive, or melflax. (Be warned dipping can harm corals to). Slugs do nothing, wrasses and other fish help eat whats' blown off but can't get into the nocks and crannies.

Zeo flatworm stop is not a quick means (if effective at all). I'm halfway threw the 90 day recommended dosing period and still finding aefw. At this point I have see 0 evidence that it's anything more then snake oil.

Yea I would dip everything once a week for 8 weeks if possible. Also interceptor doesn't kill aefw. I am sure mammoth knows that too though he probly meant to say something else.

Yes thank you for catching that. I just dosed my tank with interceptor for red bugs and had it on the brain. I meant to say bayer insecticide stuff.
