Hi All. I was experimenting with my dosing pump and just raised my alk from 9 to 14. What do I do? I only have about 3 gallons of saltwater ready. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

I let mine come down slowly over the next few weeks and there were no side effects in my softie tank

What kind of SPS? Acropia would seem to be the most at risk - RTN/STN swing thing. Getting them in another appropriate tank ASAP if possible would be something to consider.
Other SPS like healthy montipora, maybe styos & others will probably be just fine as will SPS. Lesson learned huh? I've done much worse things! Keep us posted good or bad. It may help others. Best of luck !
