Help! Anthias changing Female to Male

I have a trio of lyretail anthias. One beatiful male and 2 females. Well not quite anymore. It seems one if not both females are changing to males. I can see a dorsal spike on one of the females and they are all acting strange. They are in a well populated 120 and have been for around 6 months. My question is will this result in death or will the smaller females revert back to being completely female.

They are likely just competing to see who will be the male. Whichever one does will turn purple and the dominant female will keep the dorsal spike but stay orange/yellow.
