HELP Apex base unit is not working

I just moved over to a larger tank tonight and was getting all my Apex units up, but when I plugged in the power the base unit status light blinks yellow twice and then goes off. The two EB8s are blinking yellow, PM2 blinking yellow, VDM status light is off.

Any ideas?

I let it sit with the power off for 10 minutes or so and the base will get to a green light and after about 5 seconds the light turns off. The two EBs have blinking green lights and so does the PM2 and VDM. It does not get an IP so the firmware update does not get to the point of waiting for communication.

It has never done this before...

Try the firmware update again but this time unplug the base module from the EB8. Start the loader, it will timeout. Let it timeout once or twice then plug the base module into the EB8 for power. Hopefully the loader will see it even if the IP address is missing.

Thanks for the help. I did what you said. The EB had a yellow light flashing when I plugged in the base. The ethernet light was blinking amber and turned green for two or three flashes and then when just back to amber. The base unit light turned from flashing amber to solid green and then back to amber and then the light goes out.

Should I try to use a DOS load? If yes, what is the procedure?

Unless you want to just keep trying a few more times with that same technique, I'm out of ideas. Might be best to email Neptune.

I did email Curt last night I hope he gets back to me this weekend, becsause I cannot dim the AIs...I may need to get an AI controller locally...

Thanks for your help.
