I am approaching my 1 yr anniversary. I am interested in opinions as to why some things are not doing well and what I could change to make things better.
I have 75g Display w 30g sump. Apex control
Very active refugium packed with Macro Algae, pods, etc
I run 80deg, CA=450, Mg = 1400, Alk=10, 4xKessil 360we
I have a happy clam, 2 tangs, 1 blenny, 1 clown, 1 beta, 1 fox face, a big CUC
The following are all growing so much that I have either already fragged them or am getting ready to frag them:
Montipora, Stunner challice, Birdsnests, acropora, Singularia, zoas(punk rockers, vampires, palys) zenia, star polyps
My 3 Acans, which were dormant for their first 3 months, seemed to burst into life about 3 months ago and all are now producing lots of new buds.
The following are present but do not seem to be growing at all:
red and green gonipora
The following is in remission
green trumpet coral
I do not direct feed any of my corals. I do feed the fish very small sinking pellets which in combination with what is coming out of my refugium should be feeding my corals.
So given what is growing and what is not growing is there anything that stands out as to why the gonipora's and the trumpet would not be growing and everything else would be?
