Help Clam Lost All Color

OK here it is in a nut shell. I went on vacation and 1 week later returned to find that my chiller was not working. the temp was at like 100 and I lost a LOT in the tank. My clam was white as a brides dress but other than the color looks ok. Its been 2 weeks now and he is still while with very little color returning. Again other than the color he looks ok. Is there anything else that I should do I have been giving the tank vit c and feeding the three fish and crabs that I have left.

Any ideas?

I have recently had the same problem, my tank got up to 88 deg and one of my squamosa's lost all of it's color on one half of the mantle. I now have had the temp stable at 84 deg for 2 weeks and just now I walked in the door from work and noticed the clam has regained a fair amount of color today. I haven't done anything special so I say just give it time.

ok yea I was thinking to just wait and see I'm sure someone else has had this type thing thanks
