help converting berlin red sea turbo (hang on type) to venturi

I have the skimmer, all plumbed up with the appropriate parts (3/4" pvc, and a kent venturi valve), and a 3/4" barb at the end. What size pump should i use to feed the skimmer (through the venturi instead of needle wheel)?
