Help! Copperband Has Ich, What Do I Do?>

I would only do 2min but some would say 5min. What ever you do, keep a close watch on him. If he looks to stress then take him out.

thanks but I don't think he is going to make it, he is starting to act very sluggish. How many more times should I freshwater dip him, or is three times enough?

he ate a couple brine shrimp before Im not sure about now though, he definately not going to make it though he keeps on swimming toward the liverock and then stopping on it then falling over :( I'm really PO that I got that fish, I should have know to get a hardier one. Im so ready to just put goldfish in

Dont let it get you down.

Ive got 365 gallons and had one major wipeout.

Ich and Marine velvet.

I lost 8 fish.

Having another bad run also.

About to lose one more to Ich.

Dont give up.

Each time you learn a little bit more.

Fishy -- he was an impulse purchase anyway, I remember your thread from a few days ago -- at least it wasn't a blue face angel or the like that you learn the value of researching before buying on. Did you get the new sand put in yet?

I'm just offering constructive criticism here, but you're doing a lot very fast. Everything good in reefing happens slow, everything bad happens quickly. No more hard to feed fish until you're really ready to tackle such a thing...
