Help. Coral on the slide

Hi guys,

New to the hobby, tank has been flourishing for 7 months with no fish deaths and most coral growing and thriving, except this one...

It started slow, then expanded regularly, now it's not coming out at all. It's in a low circulation, mid light spot. What can I do?

Is that white that I'm seeing the color of the tissue or the skeleton itself? Either way I think it might be a goner. Maybe find it a shady spot in the tank and see what happens. GL.

Yeah... unless you see flesh on there take it off the rock and put it in the shade somewhere. Every once in awhile there will be some live cells inside the skeleton that can regrow a new coral.

Ignore it for 2-4 weeks then check.
