HELP! Damsel fish stuck in rock!

My damsel fish is currently the only fish I have in the tank. He's been acting very aggressive towards my hermit crabs (he swims fast and makes a noise at them). Just today I noticed he's been spending most of his time in this rock. I haven't seen him come out.. is he stuck?
Is there something wrong with him?
I'm pretty worried about him!
Please give me some expert advise!

Yikes...first and foremost, what are your parameters? I wouldn't imagine that could happen to a healthy fish but who knows. If it does appear stuck, have you tried gently tugging on it to check (being careful not to cut it - just tug enough to check if it's locked in there)?

I highly doubt its stuck. If it were it would absolutly be trying to wrestle itself out of there. Im sure its either unhappy with the water or has a parasitic or bacterial infection. Start with a full water parameter test.

Is that the only rock in the tank?
Looks like he's trying to hide in it like most fish do, and it's not large enough for him to do so. Pretty much all fish will need some place to hide out.
