Help Design my sump. (skethup model)

Well my sump is currently setup as a wet/dry trickle freshwater style. I need to add some baffles and bubble trap. The design i want to use is kind of basic. The sump is acrylic so i will be making the baffles/dividers out of acrylic.
The sketch is not to scale as i am drawing it from memory at work this morning. (Slow Friday.)


The pictures are just exported from sketchup. The first one just shows a side view of the baffle location and bubble trap area. The second a top view so you can see the way the water would flow. The third just shows another view of everything.


The yellow pieces are the acrylic pieces that would need to be added. Should i do something differently. Also the 2 pipes are the drains and you can see where the external return pump hooks up. I would be running an external skimmer.

The section with the flow arrrows? Whats going in there? Is that your fuge? I like the design...

That is how the sump was made, the previous owner made it. The arrows just show the water flow. I like it because there's no dead spots in the large open area. The water has to flow around the center and to the return. The water level in the last section of the sump is barely to where the center piece is.
