Help. Display is blank

Last night while changing out my carbon i accidently spilled some water. I reacted quickly and unplugged the power to my apex just in case it was wet. Luckly it did not get wet but the display will not come back on.

The light goes green on the controller. The EB8 has a blinking orange light that doesn't stop blinking.

I tried disconnecting everything overnight to try and reset it but no luck this morning. I can see the controller when i log on thru my computer but the base will not come on and none of the outlets will power up on the EB8.

Is there an easy fix? Please help.

Thanks

Sounds like you crashed your firmware when you yanked the power. Just reload the most current firmware and you should be OK.

I tried loading the most current by logging on using the configuration/module setup with no luck. Looks like it loads it fine but the display will not turn on.

I did notice that the lights flicker for a brief second. I'm assuming that it's because its constantly rebooting?

thanks

looks like i deleted the modules and i no longer see the display and the EB8 on the configuration/module setup. The light on the EB8 does not stop blinking. Stuck in boot loader mode?

Tried loading the most current firmware and still nothing.

How can i get myself out of this mess?

What do you mean, tried loading the firmware and still nothing. Did the firmware and web pages successfully complete?

If you've done that and can get into your controller but don't see any modules, then I would inititalize the memory. You can now do this from a web page. That should rescan and restate all the modules.

I downloaded the latest beta firmware and used the flash utility. Everything went fine. No errors.

How do I initialize the memory?

Thanks
