Hi - I need your help!
I was just cleaning my skimmer tonight and saw Dosing pump 1 continuously running. Ive been running the balling light method on this controller since September last year with much success. The tank has never been better!
Ive unplugged the dosing pumps as it is the only way to shut the pump off. I tried re-numbering the pump to different socket #s and setting the different function (like setting it to lighting and trying to control it manually) but it does not work with dosing pump 1. It continuously stays on. Dosing pumps 2&3 work fine and response when programmed as light and run in manual mode. I believe the pump is stuck on. Very concerned about the tanks health as a significant amount of CA+ was dosed into the tank 250ml remaining in the container in a 100g system. I believe the tank will recover - testing now. Thankful it was not the alk channel!
The unit is plugged into a good quality power bar with boost & buck so it rules out a spike etc. It also sits to the side of the sump, slightly elevated so not water would come into contact with it directly.
What are the next steps to try to resolve this as Ive run out of options I can try myself.
I live in Ottawa if that makes it any easier.
Thanks Micheal,
Greg
