Help! Dying fish

I just ordered a Banggai Cardinalfish from liveaquaria.com and it was delivered today to me . When i opened the bag, I felt like my heart was poked with a kinfe, I saw the little guy dead in the bottom of the bag, lying helpless. Well i thought he was dead, but then on closer inspection i saw his mouth moving non-stop. I thought it was time to acclimate this guy, atleast to my tank temp. , as it i knew it became very cold in albuquerque here last night, and when the temp in the bag started rising he started flapping his fin and starightened himself. But he is not showing any activity from the last past 1 hour. I Jus't dont want to see my fish die, even when i met this guy a few minutes ago, Any recommendations? Sorry i don't have a hospital or qt. tank.

I hate to say this but these on-line people have terrible shipping methods. I would contact the seller and ask him to make good on the fish. You'll have to send the body of the fish if and when he dies. Who knows, maybe he'll make it! Good luck!

Yeah, its already too late. I saw him breath his last. Poor guy. Feel sorry for fish's. Never Never Never going to order fish online. Its just sucks. I am too dissapointed.Just put him in the freezer.

I personally don't buy fish online, but I'm super picky and I like the experience of going to each LFS and examining fish closely, checking health, appetite, shyness and finding that perfect fish.
I do see posts on here from some people happy w/ online shopping and see many happy w/ LIVEAQUARIA and a couple others.
Hopefully yours will replace that fish or money for you.
You gave a good try, best of luck to you!
