Hello all,
I've been running an IM nuvo 8 for a couple years. Recently it crashed and I have an old IM nuvo 16 that I was going to set up. About 10 seconds of a Google search, I found these are prone to cracking along the side. So now I have a new cabinet stand (30"x12.5" footprint) and am afraid to set up the nuvo 16 again, even without the pedestal stand. It has thicker glass than the nuvo 8 and the serial number on the 16 is 03/14/0302/3734. It was running for about a year when I first got it (rescue tank for 75gallon I had to take down) with no problems, but has been dry since.
Does anyone still have a nuvo 16 running? With an mp10?
Are there any "all-in-one" aquariums that would fit that footprint? Besides the 20gallon Clear For Life hex flat back uniquarium or the 20/29 gallon rectangle uniquarium? Nuvo is 24" wide but I can go to 30"
I see a few peninsulas available, but I prefer the filtration along the back wall.
I'm open to either glass or acrylic. I thought a 20 long would be perfect, but all I see is a drop in kit by Fuji Cube.
