Help finding RK2 system service-person in NE Ohio

I've inherited two monster RK2 skimmers w/ozone units which haven't been running for several years. They need to be serviced and updated, but Company doesn't have field people who do this. Does anyone know experienced service person in the NE Ohio area that I can contact? Two 1500 gal tanks are suffering! Thanks...Barry 330-980-2406:uhoh2:

Because units haven't been serviced in years, and are not now running, I don't want to even consider messing with it! Once up and running, I could maintain them--I have the manuals. But I'm having a hard time finding someone to do this initial work, for a fee of course. Know anyone?

So whats wrong with them? Are they leaking or pumps bad or something?

I don't know anyone who could help you but I think it would help to give a little more specific information about the situation.

I would suggest replace all rubber seals in the connections. dismantle the pumps and check for corrosion and clean. Then clean the tubes with a pipescrubber. A good run with vinegar for a couple of days should remove the calcium buildup inside. I think when maintaining 2 tanks of 1500 gallon you should be able to service the skimmers yourself, it's not that hard. But do not run them without an orp controller on the Ozon unit.

Because these 2 units haven't been running for several years, I can't be more specific since I don't want to turn on something I know little about. Again, once someone can get them up and running, then I can maintain them. Someone out there should know what to do initially, we will pay for the service. Thanks....

Label on these RK2 units read "1,000". they are about 7 feet tall 36" diameter. Unit may be (can't find label) RK150PE. With ozone unit.

Sorry to sound thick-headed, but what the hell is an "orp controller"? See, that's why I need someone to get things started!

ORP is for the ozone levels to be controlled through ozone generator. When a skimmer is used with a ozone generator it increases the production of the skimmer so to speak for lack of more technical terms

Oxidation Reduction Potential... Basically the cleanliness of the water and it's ability to break down contaminants... in case you were wondering

e55driver--thanks for the response. Can you contact me directly, so we can talk on the phone? Would consider having you come in, but the devil is in the details! What would you charge, what's your experience with these units, etc, etc. I could also send you pics of the units so you can see their condition, etc. Give me a call, please...thanks...
