One of my Flasher Wrasses is stuck in my overflow and I am not sure of the best way to get him out. I have a 90 gal AGA W/ Durso stand pipe. I was thinking of capping both the return and drain tube in the sump and then removing the Durso and trying to get him out with a net. Does any one have any other suggestions? Any advice is appreciated!!
this happend once with a firefish and I let it go through the return to the sump and it did not make it, so I do not want to try that again.

what i would do is turn off the return and pull out the drain pipe after covering the drain pipe with a net as long as it won't get hurt going through it.

if it didn't make it through last time just do what Tammy suggested they've both worked for me.

smoke incase you didn't catch my post before I edited it....
I simply said reach in and get it with your hand.
but I'm not familiar with your type of overflow so I dont know if you can get your hand in there.

1. Turn off the pump

2. Put a cap into your drain. (On the sump end)

3. Pull your standpipes. (Clean them while they are out)

4. Fish the guy out with a net. (Drain some of the water out first to make it easier if you prefer)

5. Then feed him to your anenome for making you work so hard. (J/K)
