I have notice over the past few days that my yellow foxface has not been acting itself. Normally he is very active and sleeps in the open on the bottom. But the last few days he wants to be under a rock laying down or in the very back of the tank behind all the rock. These locations are not normal. Also when he is out in the open he wants to be on the surface just sitting there in the back. Right now his color is a off brown from about its fin to the top. He is very slow and nots not react fast.

The problem is that we are leaving for vacation for week and I dont know if he is sick what to do ? I do not want to lose him because he is are favorite fish in the tank.

P.S. There might be a double post in the marine fish forum. There was a glitch in my internet. sry ahead of time

The discolaration is a stress response---what else to you have in the tank that could be bugging them.

The rest of the behaviour seems normal

Is it eating?

No it is not eating. I just fed them there weekly brine shimp and it just swam away from the food. I pushed it back in front of the foxface and it just looked at it and kept floating. Everything in the tank has stay the same for the past month. Iam kinda worryed about the fish

foxface is primary a herbevoire---feed it an alage based flake and add clips or nor and rommanine lettuce for it
