I have around 40 heads of frogspawn in my tank and my true perc has been living between two large clusters. The clown seems to be getting stung constantly and the dorsal fin is pretty worn down from constantly touching the frogspawn tentacles above. There are sometimes white "chunks" on the clown's body that seem to rub off or heal on their own. It seems like it is getting worse and worse but this has been going on for months and now it seems like it's having a hard time closing its mouth.
Is there any solution to this problem other than moving the clown or the frogspawn to another tank? If I added an anemone is it possible the clown would host the anemone and leave the frogspawn alone? Any suggestions are appreciated!!
