Help getting Majano off of new zoa colony!

Post a picture. It'll help form a best angle of attack.
Sometimes with them smack in the middle of the colony, you might have to cut away some of the zoas around the majano and then use crazy glue to seal the anemone in a glue tomb right where it sits.

What about zapping it with Joe's Juice and a surgical strike with a syringe applicator. I have done away with them in the middle of zoo colonies that way before, with no ill effects.
See, he was wedged in there pretty well. I zapped him with no ill effects to the surrounding zoos.

Nice Pic. I chizeled mine off. Looks like it's pretty tight though.
Just an idea....a drill might work...Iv'e never tried it.

Whatever you do, just do it out of the tank. If you mutilate it, the pieces can and will survive.
If it's really imbedded in the center of the colony, super glue might be your best option.
I recently had a similar problem with an Aiptasia.Glued it shut in the middle of the colony. I'll see in a few weeks if it did the trick.

Just be careful to make it a surgical strike. It doesn't take much to do the job. For an extra precaution, I had a turkey baster close by and once the anemone closed up around the fluid, I gently flushed the surrounding zoos with fresh tank water. That was about a month ago and I have seen no sign of the anemones since (there were actually two that had to be zapped).
Also, if you don't want to spring for the Joe's Juice, I have also used a mixture of kalkwasser powder & salt water, mixed into a thick consistency, but thin enough to be drawn into a syringe.
