please reconsider a gfi on all your equipment in the tank. gfis are not that tempermental. a heater or power head insulation will fail more than that gfi will. your going to risk shock or electrocution over a couple hundred dollars worth of fish and coral? please reconsider. and if you do have a heater crack or insulation failure and have a current draw on the tank, i would think the inhabitants wont last as long as if losing power from a fault.
a meter to check that fixture would be a great start. unless you shuffle your feet in socks all the way over to the fixture. :lol:
